License Options:
Since DigiScope can be used in different scenarios we provide two different licensing models that provide flexibility and cost effectiveness for customers. With the “Per Store” license we enable enterprise customers to license a fixed number of Exchange stores (*.EDB’s) and all their backup copies independent from the number of mailboxes running on that Exchange server. With the “Per Seat” commercial/universal license we remove the limitation on number of stores and allow a DigiScope licensed single PC for a fixed period of time (one year or more) to open, search, recover or export information from any number of Exchange stores and PST’s. "Per Store" Enterprise License
Store licenses packs for corporate use are designed for organizations who want to license a specific number of Exchange databases/stores commonly referred to as *.EDB files. Such licenses are attached to the store and any of its backup copies for its entire life time.
- Each store is always licensed to operate without limitation on the number of mailboxes or items per information store, whether it is a mailbox or public store.
- You may license all or as many information stores as desired.
- Example: If you have 16 stores you may choose to license 1, 2, 5, 10 or all of them, however you will only be able to access licensed information stores.
- Example: If an Exchange Server has a total of 20 Information Stores and its desired to license all stores you would have to purchase a 25 store license pack.
- License packs may be allocated across multiple servers that are within the same organization.
- Example: If you have 4 servers within your organization with a total of 45 stores, you can purchase a 50 pack license and then allocate the licenses across the servers to obtain full coverage.
NOTE: The Support & Maintenance Programs are required for all per store DigiScope licenses.
