New functionality makes the e-discovery & recovery tool for Microsoft Exchange easier to use and more than twice as fast
BELLEVUE, Wash., November 5, 2007 - Lucid8 LLC, the company that provides products to increase reliability, improve efficiency, and provide e-discovery and recoverability services for Microsoft® Exchange Server databases, announced today it will be demonstrating its newly enhanced DigiScope™ 1.1 during Microsoft Exchange Connections, November 5-7, 2007 at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, NV.
Lucid8’s highly-successful DigiScope is a simple yet powerful tool that provides advanced e-Discovery, Recovery, Export and Analysis capabilities. Version 1.1 of the product works on Microsoft Exchange Server 2000, 2003 and 2007 un-mounted exchange stores and PST files, as well as via direct access to production servers for search and export; and it enables easy drag and drop restore operations.
DigiScope’s user interface has been further enhanced to look and work like Microsoft’s Outlook product. This enables users to quickly become productive in DigiScope without learning an entirely new interface. New features include Enterprise-level views of online and offline stores, Attachment Previews, Message Previews, and simple drag-and-drop operations that make this version even easier to use than DigiScope 1.0. The new DigiScope 1.1 also has tighter integration with DigiVault® 1.65, Lucid8’s continuous data protection product, to allow seamless retrieval of up-to-the-moment data for e-Discovery or Recovery actions.
DigiScope 1.1 adds new functionality that extends its ease of use and utility to an even higher level. Single touch, wizard-driven and drag-and-drop r capabilities allow restoration of the data to the original user, to an alternate user, or to a legal hold area. And, when restoring to a mailbox, if a mailbox does not exist for a user, DigiScope handles the mailbox creation and assignment internally—without further intervention from IT personnel. New export features such as support for all versions of Outlook supported PST’s, TNEF compatible MSG’s, XML and “Attachment Only” make DigiScope the most flexible tool for eDiscovery and recovery on the market. It also provides for automated zip and encryption storage of exports to deliver added space savings and security. Topping-off its market-leading features, DigiScope’s advanced search capabilities now also work against both on- and off-line stores, and it has been tuned to load, search, and recover at speeds that exceed any other alternative.

Pricing and Availability
The new DigiScope 1.1 e-Discovery and Recovery solution for Exchange is available now, with introductory pricing that starts at $595 for a single store/database with unlimited mailboxes in each store. Pricing for DigiVault 1.65 starts at $695 for 25 mailboxes. Upgrades to the new versions of DigiScope and DigiVault are available now at no charge to current license holders with valid support and maintenance agreements. DigiVault is also available as a component of the Enterprise System Protector Suite™, a product pairing that incorporates DigiVault and GOexchange to provide Exchange Server database optimization, protection and recovery. Pricing for the Enterprise Protector Suite starts at $1352 for 25 mailboxes—a 20% discount over buying its component products separately. Pricing for GOexchange alone starts at $995 for 25 mailboxes. Special pricing for passive nodes within a cluster is available.
