What Do the Different Icons Mean?

GOexchange® utilizes the Icon's listed below within the GOexchange® Console.

Clock

Indicates a server with scheduled maintenance The GOexchange module that provides maintenance functions for Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003 and 2007 Servers..

GOexchange®

Top level of GOexchange® management hierarchy in the Console Tree.

History see Reports Item

This is the default icon seen on historical reports in the lower "History" window/tab.

Job An object that represent the actions to take on an Exchange Server. Operators can select from a series of scripts to run against one or all databases, as well as custom processes, notifications backup actions and more. Item

Licensing

Licensing is invalid (hold cursor or license column to see details) This server will ONLY have DEMO mode functionality until the licensing issue is fixed.

Maintenance

In the Console Tree: configure servers, create jobs, and manage GOexchange® User Rights.

When found next to a server: indicates that a maintenance job is running.

Question

Indicates an Exchange Server on which GOexchange® is not installed.

Schedule Operators can set the time, run time limit and repetition of a job Item

This is the default icon seen on scheduled items in the lower "Plan An object that represents the date, time and frequency of a specification." window/tab.

Skull

GOexchange® was at one time reachable but the client cannot communicate with the server at this time. Potential causes: Server Down, Agents Down, Network Problem etc.

Suspended

Indicates that GOexchange® services have been suspended on the server.

Technical Support

In the Console Tree:Click to access the GOexchange® Technical Support Web site.

Wrench

Indicates a non-configured server.

X-Ball

The red X-Ball means that the server is not reachable, at one time it was AT LEAST recognized as an Exchange server, however, not necessarily a GOexchange® enabled server.

Yield

Indicates a configured but idle (no maintenance scheduled) GOexchange® server. We highly recommend you create a maintenance plan and schedule the server for maintenance every 4-6 weeks or at minimum every quarter. Hence the “Warning” symbol.
