What Third Party Backup Solutions Does GOexchange® Support?

NOTE:  If you have purchased Lucid8's DigiVault with Continuous Data Protection, it is not necessary to install the Backup Integration Agents onto a 3rd party backup server.

NOTE: Customers utilizing EVault InfoStage must install the GOexchange Backup Integration Agent on the server containing the InfoStage agent service. (Usually this is the Exchange Server itself, however verify the actual location before proceeding)

NOTE: To achieve integration with NetBackup, the GOexchange Backup Integration Agent must be installed on the UltraBac Backup Server. It is also highly recommended that the GOexchange Backup Integration Agent be started with an account that has Domain Admin rights.

NOTE: For BackupExec 11.x you must be running 11.0.7170 or later

NOTE: To achieve integration with NetBackup, the GOexchange Backup Integration Agent must be installed on the NetBackup Master Server.

NOTE: Currently GOexchange only supports the installation of the Backup Integration Agent on Windows based systems.

 

If you are utilizing a backup solution that is not on our supported backup solutions list, you can use the Custom Command feature of GOexchange® to resolve the issue in the short term.  We would also suggest that you submit a GOexchange® Enhancement Request to include your backup product as a supported GOexchange backup solution.
