The following are minimum system requirements for installation of the Enterprise System Protector (ESP) console on a workstation or server:
Version 6.0 or greater
800x600 (minimum)
Microsoft Windows XP with SP1 or greater
OR
Microsoft Windows Server 2003
Version 3.1 or greater
NOTE: Installation of the Windows Installer 3.1 might require a system reboot.
Version 3.5 Sp1 or greater
NOTE: Installation of .NET Framework Version 3.5 stops the IIS Admin Service, which will affect Exchange services.
To obtain login and operational rights in the ESP console, the desired Windows user accounts and notification information must be added as an operator A user with privileges to operate the ESP console and agents. In order to be an Operator, a user must already have Enterprise Admin, Domain Admin, or Local Admin rights. within the ESP console.
NOTE: After installing ESP, you MUST log in the first time using the GOSupervisor account. After you are logged in, you can configure the desired Windows user accounts to be group operators and enterprise supervisors.
NOTE: Only Windows user accounts that have membership in one or more of the following Windows groups can be added as an ESP operator: Enterprise Admins, Domain Admins.
