DigiVault is the first product to use the Enterprise System Protector (ESP) framework. The DigiVault components rely on and require the ESP framework. Therefore, part of the set-up process requires that the appropriate ESP agents be installed along with the DigiVault agents.
ESP is a distributed client and server application framework that provides the following:
Centralized management
Snap-in modules with a consistent look and feel
Enterprise- and group-based rules, policies, and security
Before implementing DigiVault, review the following product architecture components of ESP and DigiVault:
NOTE: To leverage the common user interface, centralized management, security, and other ESP features, future modules (such as the next generation of GOexchange) and related products will snap into the ESP framework.
