NOTE: DigiVault only supports the installation of the backup integration agent on Windows-based systems.
Using the backup integration agent, DigiVault can initiate, monitor, and report the state of an Archive-to-Tape backup job using the following third-party solutions.
Computer Associates ARCserve 2000
Computer Associates Brightstor (versions 9.x through 11.x)
CommVault Galaxy (versions 4.2 through 6.1)
NTBACKUP versions 5.x (included with Windows 2000 and Windows 2003)
UltraBac (version 7.0 or higher)
Symantec/Veritas Backup Exec (versions 8.6 through 10.x)
Symantec/Veritas NetBackup (versions 4.5 through 6.x)
NOTE: To achieve integration with NetBackup, the DigiVault backup integration agent must be installed on the NetBackup Master Server.
EVault Infostage 5.6
NOTE: To use EVault InfoStage, the DigiVault backup integration agent must be installed on the server containing the InfoStage agent service (usually this is the Exchange server itself.)
