The GOSupervisor is the master ESP supervisor account. To prevent it being locked out (in other words, having all ESP users removed), the GOSupervisor account cannot be deleted from the ESP console configuration.
During installation, DigiVault checks the system to see if a GOSupervisor exists in the active directory. If the account exists, no action is taken. If the account does not exist, one is automatically created.
The GOSupervisor account is created with the following characteristics:
Granted log-on as a service privileges
Granted schema administration privileges
Added to the Local Administrators, Domain Admins, and Enterprise Admins groups
Added to the Exchange Domain Servers group
The GOSupervisor has all ESP rights. These rights cannot be adjusted or removed to ensure that ESP always has at least one user with full access to all features.
